Next Meeting - November 25th, 2006

The NEXT meeting is Saturday November 25, 2006 at 7:30 PM at South Bay Temple.

- Theresa will be running an activity so come show your support!

- There will be NO Meeting this Saturday November 18th.

Stephanie's Meeting - Recap

- Stephanie led an arts and crafts activity to help the kids understand the concepts of impermanence and importance of adaptability. Also, this activity allowed members to share things about themselves.

- Kids made thier arts and crafts but had different resources such as markers, paper, glue, and even entire projects switched up on them.

- Discussion was on how things in life changed and how you need to deal with it.

4 Steps to solve every problem from Master Sheng Yen:
1) Face it
2) Accept it
3) Deal with it
4) Let go of it

- Performance for the elder camp - Our Diva Natalie Tseng will be singing Aretha Franklin's RESPECT song and we will need people helping out dancing and holding signs on stage with her
- Waiters and Waitress for elder's dinner - We are going to be serving the elderly their dinner
- Wear your uniform
